The joint project with Galliker Transport AG is taking shape. An interim report on the most important milestones.
Since its start in May 2021, the joint project has entered the next development phase and first significant achievements have already been recorded. The most important milestones have also been specified. When choosing the vehicle, the decision was made in favor of a Volvo FH-420 model semitrailer truck (production year 2016, six-cylinder diesel engine with 12,800 cm³, Euro 6 emission standard). The vehicle is currently in the engineering workshop of CombiFuel Swiss AG, where all the necessary adaptation work is being carried out. The in-house CF retrofit kit has already been successfully installed and initial checks and test drives already indicate full compatibility with the base engine, which in a broader sense ensures smooth functionality of the entire system. …
